 A little over a week ago I met a friend and her family and did pictures of the 17 of them. This was my first large group session, and I think it went pretty well! It always helps when the people are all so good looking. I am still working on editing these pictures, but this is a picture of Grandpa and Grandma, with their grandchildren and great-grandchild!

Sorry for the nearly three week delay in posts. I guess I have just gotten a little caught up in the craziness of summer! I didn't really realise that people actually looked at my blog until a few people lately have told me how much they enjoy looking at it, Thanks!

Ok so its actually photos, but this weekend my mom, kids and I went to the Sovereign Winery in Waconia for some wine and a snack. Niklas and Elin had a blast, and we sure enjoyed relaxing watching them have fun all while drinking wine and eating cheese! If you haven't checked out the Sovereign Winery, it is a great place to go in Waconia, and works out great with little ones!

We took our first bike ride with both kids in the Burley this week. We biked into Excelsior and had dinner at Adele's. It went pretty well, Elin only cried the last two miles home!

Photo of the Day #22: Remembrance

Today is Memorial Day. It is a holiday we dedicate to all the brave men and women who have, are and will serve our country. We thank you for all you do for all of us!
My son Niklas Laurence was named after my grandpa Laurence "Larry" Sowles. He served our country in the Marine Corps as a Corsair fighter pilot in the pacific theatre in WWII. There was a History Channel video made about the Corsair Plane, there is actual video footage of my grandpa and some of his buddies talking and hanging out near a Corsair plane. Even tho my grandma said "oh its nothing really," and it is only a minute of footage,  it's really pretty awesome!
My grandpa lived to be 86,  but his life still seemed to be cut short. He was an absolutely incredible man who is still so dearly missed! I was pregnant with Niklas in July of 2009 when my grandpa died, I really wish they could have met here on earth.

Photo of the Day #20: I love...

I love my Dad and Kids! Both in one great picture! Today is my dads birthday. When my sisters and I were kids, every May 17th we would take a picture on my dads lap for his Birthday, much like this one. It started with just me, and it was fun to watch as our family grew. Now on this May 17th in 2012, its Grandpa and his two grandkids......I LOVE......... THAT!
