Better late than never I suppose. I found a great list for a photo challenge like this. It gives you 365 different words/phrases, one for each day of a year. Then you as the photographer interpret them as you want in a photograph!

I spent a good portion of my day planting yesterday. My ambitions are high, and hopefully my results will be as well! I planted some new seeds (since I killed my last batch) Rainbow peppers, Jalapenos, and Cucumbers. I also planted two tomato plants, onions, Blueberries and Raspberries.

This is however my favorite plant so far, it is a lettuce bowl, you just cut off the lettuce as you need it and then it will continue to grow back, SO COOL! Here's to eating from your own garden (Fingers crossed)

A picture a day keeps...

The frustration away? Well no probably not totally. There are so many things you have little to no control over when it comes to photography, but getting the camera in your hand every day sure helps you get to know it better! Figuring out the very best times of day for lighting, the best ways to get rascal kids to cooperate, all to perfect it one day and to get a bran new set of unknowns the next! But what a fun challenge, so here goes..... A Picture Post a Day.

I also have been getting a lot of questions regarding pricing. I have been waiting to post this because I had not been quite sure what was fair for you and fair for my work. I have come to the conclusion of $100 give or take (see I can't fully commit) all depending on what we do, where we go, how many pictures we end up getting.

So for roughly 100$ you will get 1-2 hour photo session, at the location of your choice, and a CD with the copy rights to your edited pictures.

Trying to get a two year old boy to sit still for pictures has been near impossible. At least he is still cute even when he isn't looking at the camera! Here are two I captured of my kids in the Easter outfits this year.

More Baby Bentley!

We tried to get a good newborn session with the "oh so sleepy" Mr. Bentley. However this little man had other ideas! He was wide awake nearly the entire time! Still so cute tho! Congrats again Tiffany and Chris!

Austin and Kaison

Here are some pictures from my good friend Sarah's  photo session with her two beautiful children Austin and Kaison. Her parents recently moved from the house she grew up in so we wanted to capture a few last memories out side of Grandpa and Grandma's house. I thought we were going to have a good over cast day for lighting, but then the sun came out and it ended up being a beautiful day, that is unless you are trying to take pictures outside! Thanks Sarah, your kiddos are so cute!
